- T&M's Explosive Detection Canine division is led by Bob Schnelle, who previously served as the Kennel Master for the NYPD Bomb Squad and was selected as a member of New York Task Force 1, the federally funded and recognized FEMA Team, responsible for Urban Search and Rescue deployment; and Michael Isler, the former Commanding Officer of the NYPD Tactical Training Unit, who is also a Department of Homeland Security Certified Instructor in Response to Terrorist Bombing Incidents
- T&M canines are bred and trained exclusively for detection of the following explosives: Dynamite, C4, Data Sheet, Tovex, Black Powder, Smokeless Powder, Fireworks Powder, TNT, Potassium Chlorate, RDX, Detcor and PETN
- Bomb Technicians and Explosive Detection Handlers have extensive law enforcement experience and explosive detection training
- Explosive Detection Canine Teams deployed throughout the New York area with ample reserve of additional canines and handlers for emergency response
- Explosive Detection Canine Handlers are continuously cross-trained with each and every canine, allowing a healthy ratio of handlers-to-canines necessary for maximum operational flexibility
- T&M canines are not house pets and reside at the Operations and Training Center when not assigned to help ensure proper care, exercise, socialization, training and rapid deployment as needed

- Ability to provide other explosive detection systems and technologies, including X-ray systems, to meet the latest government requirements and other regulations
- Walk-through weapons detectors identify the exact location of concealed weapons with proprietary technology for faster throughput and fewer false alarms
