T&M Recommends Avoiding All Unnecessary Travel to Pakistan

May 02, 2011

At 10:45pm EST Sunday night, T&M's Command Center (TMCC) reported to its subscribers that Osama Bin Laden had been killed. For years, the Intelligence Community has warned that if and when Bin Laden is killed, there is likely to be attempted terrorist attacks by his sympathizers and disciples in direct reaction to his death, ensuring his martyrdom status. Accordingly, a heightened level of alert has been declared in view of the anti-American sentiment that this event is likely to engender.

There is no question that our government and key law enforcement agencies will be on high alert and we advise our clients to be especially vigilant and prudent, particularly concerning travel, for the next 3-4 months.

T&M recommends avoiding all unnecessary travel to Pakistan.

T&M is available to discuss any security concerns you may have in view of this situation and the heightened awareness that is incumbent on all of us to practice at work, while traveling and throughout our daily activities.
