team_goldsborough_100New York, NY —T&M Protection Resources announces the appointment of John B. “Jack” Goldsborough to the new position of Executive Vice President. Goldsborough will be leading T&M’s corporate development, business planning and growth initiatives, reporting directly to T&M Protection Resources Chairman and CEO Robert Tucker.

"The addition of Jack Goldsborough is another important step in our strategy to build T&M into the industry’s foremost security organization by assembling an outstanding team of managers with exceptional talent and skills. His widespread industry experience will enhance T&M’s structural development, service offerings and organic growth while also enabling us to focus on strategic acquisitions,” said Tucker. "During Jack’s more than 38 years in the security business he has provided leadership for local and regional security companies as well as one of the largest international organizations. Jack’s appointment follows another key addition to the T&M team with the recent hiring of Joe Russo as Vice President, Special Operations. Russo comes to T&M from the US Secret Service where he served as Special Agent in charge of the detail protecting former President Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton."

Most recently, Goldsborough served as managing director of the business advisory and brokerage division of Valiant Communications Inc., a leading provider of labor management software and payroll services to the protective services industry. His career started in 1965 with Burns International Security Services where he rose to the Office of the President prior to its sale to Borg-Warner in 1982. Subsequently, Goldsborough was the principal of an industry consulting business prior to becoming president and CEO of United Security Group Inc., later acquired by Command Security Corporation in 1995. Goldsborough also was vice president, Northeast Region for AHL Services Inc., executive vice president for corporate development with Atlantic Security Systems Inc., and president and COO of Summit Security Services.

“T&M is committed to providing innovative, advanced solutions and countermeasures that meet today’s and tomorrow’s security needs by leveraging its considerable investment in human, operational, technical and financial assets,” said Goldsborough. “Under Robert Tucker’s leadership, T&M continues to draw on its extensive network of contacts from the public and private sectors as evidenced by the addition of Joe Russo from the U.S. Secret Service and key management from the NYPD and other federal and local law enforcement agencies. Our strong and experienced management team enables us to offer state-of-the-art capabilities and proven operational procedures for the demanding security protocols required by T&M’s prestigious and growing client base.”

Mr. Goldsborough is a past president of the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State Inc. (ALDONYS) and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He is a graduate of Bonaventure University.
